What exactly is AI search visibility?
When someone asks ChatGPT, Google AI, or Perplexity for a local recommendation, the AI cites one or two businesses by name. AI search visibility is whether your business appears in that answer.
How long until I start seeing results?
Most clients see their first AI citations within 30 days. Some see improvements in the first two weeks in Google AI Overviews. Broader citation growth across ChatGPT and Perplexity typically takes 30 to 60 days.
Do I need a website to get started?
No. A Google Business Profile alone is enough to get started. We can improve your AI visibility through GBP optimisation, review velocity, and directory consistency. A website lets us do significantly more.
What types of businesses do you work with?
We work with any local or service-area business, including trades, restaurants, healthcare, legal, real estate, retail, wellness, automotive, beauty, and more. If people in your area search for your type of business, we can get you cited.
Will this replace my existing SEO?
No. Traditional SEO and AI visibility work together. Strong SEO is the foundation for effective AI citation. NorthCited amplifies what you already have, or builds the foundation if you are starting from scratch.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No contracts, no minimum terms. Cancel anytime by emailing us. The first month is also risk-free. If you do not see measurable improvement, you do not pay for month two.
Do I ever need to get on a call?
Never. Everything happens over email: short onboarding, profile access, and monthly PDF reports. No meetings required.
How do you measure and report results?
Each month we manually run your target queries through ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI and screenshot the results, comparing against your baseline from month one. The monthly report is a clean PDF with before/after screenshots.
What do you need from me to get started?
Very little. After signing up, we send a short onboarding email asking for your Google Business Profile access (or we create one from scratch if you do not have it), your website login if you have one, top 3 to 5 service categories, and your service area. That is it.
Do you build websites?
Yes, included in both plans. We design and build a clean 5-page website if you do not have one, then maintain it monthly. Built on WordPress or Framer, fully mobile-responsive. We cover standard informational business sites. For custom e-commerce or complex booking systems, we will point you in the right direction.
I do not have a Google Business Profile. Can you set one up?
Yes, GBP setup is included in both plans. We create, verify, and fully optimise your profile from scratch. Verification typically takes 1 to 5 business days via Google. If you already have a GBP we take over management immediately and optimise everything.
